Speaking, networking and LinkedIn can all create strong interest, but that interest needs somewhere to go afterwards.
Someone may hear you speak, meet you at an event or read one of your LinkedIn posts and become curious about your work. Their next step is often to search your name or visit your website. If the message there is broad or disconnected from what attracted them in the first place, momentum can quickly disappear.
Give people a clear route back into your client journey. That could mean a relevant landing page after an event, a useful guide or self-assessment mentioned during a talk, a clear website path from your LinkedIn profile or thoughtful follow-up after someone engages.
The goal is not to turn every interaction into an immediate sales conversation. It is to make sure genuine interest has a useful next step and that good-fit prospects can continue building trust with you after the original interaction ends.
