Creating interest and attracting the right enquiry are not the same thing. A coach may already be visible through referrals, speaking, networking, LinkedIn or content, but some of the people who make contact may not fully understand the offer, may not be ready to invest, or may simply not be the right fit.
One reason is positioning. If your message is broad, people can recognise that you are a coach without understanding exactly when or why they should work with you. Another is the client journey. Someone may arrive on your website interested in your work but be asked to book a discovery call before they have enough clarity or trust to feel ready.
A stronger journey helps potential clients recognise whether your coaching is right for them before they enquire. Clear positioning, client-centred messaging, relevant proof, useful first steps and helpful follow-up can all improve that process.
The goal is therefore not simply more enquiries. It is to help more of the right people understand your value and move forward at the right time.
